Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

I won't be participating in this one, however will probably show up a little after lunch with some fancy camera gear and might snap some shots. Will be there to antagonize the folks in grid, steal some ride alongs, and generally be Nicky V.

Not sure about my commitment to this one. Although I'll probably end up coming to do registration and then leaving for a bike ride.

Just to make sure everyone notices the change. We have added a new Early Waivers position so that the person who is at waivers can still see the course before the event starts.

This means that we need one more person to sign up for early waivers, to make sure they are at their posted spot by 8:15 am. This is your work assignment for the day. So after you do this, then all you have to worry about for the rest of the day is driving.

I did waivers last event. I have to say that I enjoyed it very much. Since I don't get to come up often, it gives a chance to see faces with the cars and ask a few questions...With the change so you get more time to walk the course, I would rate this work station very high. I'll try to get it again my next time up.
