Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

  • Huntsville Co-drive.

My original co-driver has decided he needs to spend this weekend moving. Charlie has graciously offered a spot for the Birmingham event, but won't be able to make it Sunday. Does anyone have a seat they would like filled to help the cause on Sunday? I'm willing to change tires, buy lunch, gas money, etc. I will also let you win. (unless it's close)

If you can get yourself to Huntsville and promise to refrain from flatspotting my tires AGAIN, you're welcome to the Miata. You don't even have to finish behind me. Just beat a few of those dastardly northerners

A huntsville guy has my number up there, so I am registered as STR 09 (or at least that is my intent). You can sign up for STR 109.

Wait, you're driving Charlie's car on Saturday. That means the condition for driving mine on Sunday is to make sure you and Charlie are both behind me in B'ham

Thanks Rod! I'll bring my own wheels and tires to flat spot in STR.

Thanks Derrin. I definitely want to drive the e36, but I'll hold off for an event where there is less at stake.

If you need a ride to huntsville there is a seat open in the G35.

Thanks Sam. I've got plenty of stuff to drive, just nothing competitive.

Anybody out there with a car that doesn't understeer horribly (preferably AWD or RWD, with lots of power) consider letting me co-drive on Sunday? Considering going up there to fight for the South, but can't take my Miata.

Where are Lee Kingry and Bill Fleet these days? A 225-275 HP Miata would be perfect.

I will be at our event Saturday. If anybody feels like sharing in Huntsville, just let me know.

                  Hey Sam,

a ride TO huntsville, or IN hunstville? Cause if you have a seat open for a co-drive I wouldn't mind taking that spot. I'll drive myself to H-town, but I'll buy you lunch or change tires or whatever.
John Kilgore...if winning was easy, losers would do it.
