Paul ... these guys are talking real cars and track times. =)
Sean, Paul and whoever else might have LFS ... I've started a new thread about the car-in-car issue we have seen during the Autocross events. Please post and help this issue get some attention. Thanks.
I've added my two cents. Also asked about setting up ProSolo's using the christmas tree and a few other rules tweaks. Doesn't seem like any of that is possible without hard code changes. I kinda figured as much, but it was worth asking.
Guess we will have to do it with our own software eventually
I'd like to race something this evening. Anyone up for running something? Don't care what to be honest. I just got the JGTC or Super GT 500 add on for GTR2. It's darn good. I ran a combined 300 and 500 field at Barber the other night and it was ALOT of fun. But I'm open to whatever.
I've been running LFS for the last 2 hours and I looked for your name. You must have been offline.
Vroom, I got your email, but you have blocked anyone trying to send you something back. That's just wrong. I've been racing in the real world since 74 and in the digital since atari came out with Indy500 and the paddle control. Don't talk to me about old! Remember Night Driver and 280 ZAP from the arcade days? I do! The next time we have some folks over, get your butt over here and we might just learn ya a thing or two. At the very least you'll have a good time.
I was racing on S3 Racing Open. They're running AS3 for practice for the first LOTA race. I'm planning to drive it ... I got down to 1:48.7 with the FXR and 15% intake restriction. that's maybe middle of the pack ...
link me so I can see a schedule. My biggest issue has always been the lack of real world anything inside LFS. I just can't seem to get yself motivated to race on fantasy circuits in fantasy cars. We shall see.
I know what you mean about LFS and the fantasy tracks/cars. I felt the same way, but I also had problems with GTR2 not having any decent representation of road cars since a lot of user created content was poorly built. rFactor seems to have higher quality user created content, but there still isn't a great amount of choice for road cars. I wanted to race something close to what I really drive, and LFS provides that.
