and for the record i think in ST and SP you can have an ewg, its the MBC that puts me in SM. After I pick up the new solenoid I can run in those classes, but, SM is where all the competition is

The STi is rediculous in every way. Thanks for the Co-Drive Ervin. I haven't driven anything with such an abrupt power curve for a long long time, but I was getting it dialed in by the 5th run, lol.

I loved having to time the lag just right coming off a corner. Too much throttle too early and all four tires were on fire and the car would slide off the world to the outside of the corner. Too little and it seemed like forever before you were hit in the spine with a 2x4 in the hands of Andre the Giant! The car is an animal and I LOVE IT!!!!

And, for the 30 billionth time ... MBC's are legal in SP.

Yeah Sean, that car is a blast. I'm a fan of the Subarus for Auto-X as they don't lag nearly like the Evo's do ... no replacement for displacement.

        (Sorry for OT rule quotes)

              Results are up.

edit: Apparently Sean in the STI was the 5th raw time on street tires.

Nice ... Sean taking place over John Waight and Ervin in a borrowed car. Holdbrooks taking out Nick ... he should be nicer to his brother ... Nick seems to have improved though.

To be fair Ervin was every bit as quick as me, although the 36.4 run he had was nasty on the return slalom, lol. I was standing at the trailer watching, several innocent cones did not make it out alive! . Not sure how much time the straight lining of that section with no regard for the sanctity of cone lives was good for though.

Neither of us got everything the STi had in it yesterday. I know there was a solid 35 in it. Oh well. It was a heck of alot of fun!

and sean it was the 37.9xx run that i murderlated all those cones, the 36.4 was when i killt the cone after finish

on fun runs i cut a 36.6 36.5 and a 36.3, too bad we didn't get all 10 runs we were promised i think we'd a definiitely seen a 35 even on tires that commited ritual suicide together

                        5500 rpm launch brutality!!!!!

Just like you thought we were running in the second group, I';m pretty sure the cones that lost their lives were mowed down on the 36.4, lol. Doesn't really matter though.

Sucks that I didn't make it, it's just a long way for me to go and my car isn't very highway friendly (gas mileage, tire wear, etc.). Plus, I stayed up too late Friday night...

Whoa, that means a lost weekend since the autocross was on Sunday. Must have been worth it!

I'm pleased the street tires held out and let me mix it up with the R-compound crowd. The course was pretty technical and I never got the sweeper at the top right or I could have dropped another .5. Maybe, possibly... Oh well I never did it.
