Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

    Atlanta Pts. 4 this Sunday April 29th

    Chris and I will be there. Anyone else planning on coming? The afternoon session doesn't start until 1pm so it's an easy drive to get there.

    Turner Field? My son will be playing in a basketball tournament in Kennesaw this weekend. If we are done early on Sunday we may need to come by and check it out.

      Nope. It's at AMS. Awesome lot and probably the best asphalt surface I've ever run on.

        SP runs in the first group so I'm gonna pass. I'd have to get up at 3:00am to get there almost late. Good time to get some seat time before the Evolution Shootout

                    It's because of the other venues they run. They are very serious about sound control there because they've lost good sites in the past due to it. Eric Anderson got dnf 'd last event in his blown miata and I never thought of it as loud.

                    With good sites getting harder to find its something we have no choice but to embrace.

                    Funny thing though at the last event there NASCAR was testing and was way lounder than anyhing we had. Guess $$$ talks when it comes to making noise....

                      IIRC from Nashville, Butch's car is about 108 on driver's right, and from Road Atlanta, about 96 driver's left. I didn't see the numbers from TGPR.
