What are you saying? The course won't be that fast.

I did my 2nd shadow last event but I didn't get a signature from the Safety Stewards so my license application hasn't been sent off and approved yet.

I do plan to be there and will cover a SS position if needed.

actually i was thinking that it will be so fast some of you old timers may have to call it quits half way through the day because of the shakes.

somehow your problems have turned into my problems. this was not part of the job proposal Mark and I received back in 2010.

I think I could probably do registration soon. Maybe Jake will want to help, since he's good with computers as well. However, I'm already committed to tech for this particular event.

Agreed Nick. We just need to figure out how so many issues turned up in registration at the last event.

Probably just me not paying attention...I remembered it being a little screwy a time or two. I'd select the class they said, but when I'd exit the box it would sometimes revert to the previous class it had defaulted to. I caught it several times, but I'm sure there were just a few times it slipped by, and that's why people were in the wrong class :/

Now that's a great idea! Load up everyone on milkshakes so they get sick in the heat!

And Chick- Fil-A shakes are really cheap on Sundays....

While not preferable, these two things are actually unrelated. If pressed for workers it would be easy to do registration and SSS at the same event. Let your SSS partner handle approving the course. Other than that, there is no overlap.

I say this is not preferable because it is always helpful to have multiple safety stewards when approving the course.

EDIT: ignore what I said (this won't be hard for most of you ). SSS duties require that someone serving as a safety steward hold no other worker position.

                        Exactly. No multitasking safety.

Thanks John, it looks like most of our SS's are in STR.

I'm running the PAX class, not in the regular STR class.
