Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

Timing had Rod at a .310. I saw that run and it was a .3 flat.

Also, Lyle Cain won CSP with a 44.something and as you mentioned, the Lotus was not in CSP.

        STR final order should be

        1st: Bo Jinright
        2nd: Darryl Engle
        3rd: Ray Lugos
        4th: Rod Hardiman

To those of you I heard grumbling about timing issues, go work in the trailer and those complaining about the course need to be at the next event at 6:30 AM to to help set up the next one.
I was grumbling about the course as well but after a few runs there was a rythym to it.
Great event and a lot of fun. We get spoiled at times by all the hard work that gets done before everyone else shows up. I appreciate all the work John did when his helpers got held up elsewhere. That means there are opportunities for people to step up and make things better. Do you have a course idea? Bring it. Everyone onsite is a volunteer. We could always use more help. We need more Timing and Scoring folks. From what I hear that will be the job to have this summer. We have some good course designers but we need more. There is always something that needs to be done and the more folks you have the easier and faster it gets done. Step up, help out and our events will be more friggin' awesomer than they are right now.

By the way did you all notice John Kilgore didn't even drive on Saturday?

                  Thanks ALSCCA.

Glad you're feeling better C. You and Sara were missed.
Darryl and I did the novice walk through in your absence.

Darryl was C, I was Sara.

We may have set back the program a bit.

Discussing C and anything delicate in the same sentence seems odd..

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.
