Soooo, what's the point of a website calender if its not going to be utilized?
Good point. No excuses... Every thing that I could find that has a firm date is on the calendar.

The Autocross calendar is not confirmed yet, as we had to make a few changes due to conflicts with Verizon Wireless Amphitheater.

The Time Trial/PDX calendar will be confirmed after this weekend. The yearly meeting for the SouthEast Division of the SCCA is this weekend at Jeckyll Island. Nothing can be confirmed until after that meeting.

Everything will be confirmed on the calendar after that.

I noticed your post on another driving event, that was eventually cancelled. The reason we did not put that event on the calendar is because it was not an SCCA event. We help out other people who are putting on events that our group may be interested in, but if we were to put every single event that we know about going on in the southeast you wouldn't be able to find the ALSCCA events on the calendar.

It seems that you do not like the idea of sifting through the forum to find events, and I understand that, not everyone has time to check the forum. But it is in your best interest to keep updated on the forum, as anything that has to updated or changed is mentioned on the forum.

Also, just out of curiosity, which calendar are you looking at? Are you going to the link at the top of the forum page or are you going to the Google Calendar link that is posted on the ALSCCA.net homepage as well as the Autocross/Solo tab?

I am just trying to figure out which calendar a new user like yourself is utilizing so we can have a better idea what those people that don't frequent the forum are using to find out how to get involved.

            Thanks.
