Yeah we totally overdrove the car today. Sean pulled it out on his third run and did awesome. I overcooked the exit of a bus-stop on my second run and chose to run around three cones instead of plowing through them. My third run included a slide with conage at the end of a slalom. It wasn't truly a DNF, but there were enough cones that it doesn't matter. I do feel like I can climb to 12th tomorrow and Sean can probably pick up a couple of spots also.

Sounds like you guys (and gals) had a great time up in HOT Lincoln! I heard the OPR was mixed with concrete repair goo, and that people were actually using fresh tires EACH run! Taking $3000-$4000 worth of Hoosiers for 3 runs each day is really upping the win cost at Nationals. http://www.sccaforums.com/forums/for...33/scope/posts
Congrats to Jordan for a great 1st trip out there! Sean brought home a trophy to the region in the most difficult HS Mini spec class, and Casey had a strong mid pack finish in a car with the wrong drive wheels for him. Dennis S did a great job in CS (another really tough class with great drivers) and finished a strong mid-pack) And Mike C ran well in an unbelievably HUGE 64 car STR class (that only became a class a couple of years ago).
I hope you all have some great memories and stories to tell us all upon your return! Thanks for representing our region with honor and integrity!

Sean Ittner finished 23 in CP ,and Papa Ron 30th!! good job guys!! safe travel home!!
That would be 22nd, Mr. Sheehy....up 7 places from last year and about 5% closer to the front. If not for the cone on my last run (which I don't see in the video) I would have been 20th.
