Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

I almost beat Yoder! I WAS SO CLOSE

Oh well. Rcomps are awesome, changing wheels... not so much.

I'll probably continue to be on the lookout for 225/xx/15 used rubber, so if anyone knows of any secret used r comp factories, send the info my way.

sounds like it was an awesome event . Hated to miss yet another one but I was neck deep in soldering wires on a certain 1986 MR2 . Got it running about 8pm . Just got a few more details to shore up and the thing will be back in hte street again .

Maybe Ill make September who knows.

I think I had as much fun working with the new guys as I did driving and I had a blast driving. I will be glad to help any time asked.

Yes, thanks to all the great drivers helping herd us novices. We'd be lost without you, and I have the pictures to prove it! Seriously, every member I have ever met has been amazingly helpful. We appreciate you all.

I guess if we continue to have a 70+ turnout, the worker chief can continue to dole out CSP novice instructions.

Hopefully next time we'll have a few more seasoned folks to work corners though.
