Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

Great event, The Kilgors and the setup crew put on an outstanding event. Over 60 drivers, 6 runs and done by 3:30. Great course by Clay and company, one of the best uses of the lot I have seen but I have missed a few so that may not mean much. Again, great job to all those put this on so us slackers can just show up and play...

    Results?

        Seat Time

I had almost forgotten how much fun a day on the track can be. I hope to be a regular at next years Pelham points events. Thank you for a very enjoyable day.

I'll post results shortly. Had issues with the internet connection today. Just got home. Katie put the TVR driver list in the money box in case you need a backup list. A Kilgore should have that.

Who is compiling the scores? I'd have to learn Apple Numbers and I'm too tired tonight.

Okay, I've done it, but I ran into a problem with the novices.

Andrew Reynolds from TVR is mis-classed, I believe. He is in a G35 coupe, I think, which puts him in FS, not DS where the sedan would be. When his time is paxed for FS, he drops from 8th to 10th. (If I am mistaken about this, someone please correct me.)

I've taken the liberty of calculating the numbers with this adjustment. I get that ALSCCA is leading 686 to 630.

These numbers are unchecked and unverified.

There is another misclassed Infiniti, the G37 of Bo Jinright, but it doesn't affect the N vs S results, so is none of my business. These G-series Infinitis are tricky.

Added: Ooops! I forgot attendance points! Plus, I apparently don't know who is who. I give up.

Just for the record, the Course was designed by Nick Vagner and he was assisted in the set up by Clay and Griffin.

Some times you've got to give credit where credit is due. And the last few events have been Nick courses.

Well, whoever did the course - it was great! Proper car position paid off with a fast line. I learned a ton just by working between the two big sweepers.

I had never seen a Miata lift the REAR tire off the ground under braking before this event.

Great job to everyone who put the event on!

I appreciate you looking out for me sweetie <3 but no, I had very little to do with the one this time. I got there late and my week had been so busy I didn't really have anything in mind. The original idea came from Griffin this time, with tweaking by Clay.

I'm not sure how much came from which, but either way, Griffin, Clay, you guys made an awesome course. I wish I had a little more input than I did, but I don't think I could have made it any better. Kudos guys. I just helped stick some cones out there

The event was a lot of fun, and BIG thanks to C and Sara for allowing me to experience my car with grip...def a first, and I think I could get used to that feeling

Thanks to all who came out and enjoyed themselves, the Kilgores for bringing it all together, Matt for not hitting someone with something heavy when the trailer area gets stressful, and anyone else I forgot to mention. See you next time!

The event was indeed a blast and I had a great time. I was pretty rusty and tried to get used to a new setup on the RX7. I coned away a 41.9, but felt that the car had a little more in it than that. The Kumho's are amazing. Despite the small size, they delievered great grip that was almost impossible for me to get used to. The turn in was so quick that I found myself behind most of the day. Thanks to everyone for a great event, regardless of which region won.

Very similar to a FWD just not as extreme. John drove very deep before braking. The rear inside wheel just stopped spinning and carried for about 20-30' around the inside of that sweeper. It was barely off the ground - you couldn't really see daylight under it but the wheel was not spinning and it wasn't smoking the tire or anything so i don't think it was dragging it.

Maybe the camera guy at our corner caught a shot of it...
