Does anyone know about energy suspension? I am thinking about getting the master kit to replace all my bushing plus stiffer motor mounts. My car definitity needs it and I hoping someone will tell me it would be a big help

The idea is to save money I'm not looking into buying coilovers or getting crazy until I make it to the big shots of course. Maybe next month getting some springs. Small steps

upgrading from the stock rubber bushings to Poly bushings (like those from Energy) will be a HUGE difference. You will be able to feel it immediately. I think this is a great idea, because you definitely would want to stiffen the chassis before you go the route of coilovers. Most people would do it the other way around, but most people would tell you, do the suspension in steps. Bushings, then shocks, then springs (or coilovers), then swaybars (then adjustable swaybars if you go that way). It will be much better for setting up the car, because if you go from coilovers, then to bushings, your coilover settings will be way off when you stiffen the chassis with bushings.

I'm hoping to get several Energy Suspension bushings installed this weekend. A good plan. With older cars especially ... it makes a difference to not only refresh worn bushings, but upgrade them to a stiffer material for more precise handling.

If your bushings are worn, the ES kit is a great. I installed them on my Miata, and you can really feel the difference. I will caution you if this is a daily driver, you will feel every road imperfection and ride harshness will be amplified. Once coupled with performance tires, higher spring rates and firm shocks, my ride has become less enjoyable.

I completely understand losing ride quality it is not that great of a ride already, but that isn't a issue with me. As far as installing these bushings will I need a hydraulic press?

I can't speak for installation on a Honda, but all i needed was a Harbor Freight "ball joint service" kit, a large c-clamp, and a vice. You can borrow the tool if you'd like. My ES bushing were two pieces, with a tubular metal sleeve. Very easy to install. The hardest part is pushing out the old bushings.
