Is anyone paying attention to the weather for tomorrow ? It honestly does not look favorable for tomorrow's event.

That's half of the reason I made the decision not to come. Love playing in the rain, but I'd hate to go through the hassle of getting someone to take over for me and all that at the clinic to get up there and have it be cancelled because of a storm..

Sorry, though I registered, I won't be coming down tomorrow. Huntsville weather is supposed to be worse than B'ham... tornado threat is moderate and I feel like I need to stay close to home.

My go-to weather source is www.alabamawx.com (James Spann etc.) who says about tomorrow (of course this can change anytime):

All modes of severe weather are likely, including hail, damaging straight line winds, and tornadoes. While we could see severe weather as early as 3:00… it really looks like the core threat will come from about 6:00 p.m. tomorrow through 4:00 a.m. Sunday. Everybody will need to be close to a good source of weather information so you won’t miss any warnings.

Today I got my case settled that was supposed to go to trial Monday (and prep all weekend) and when i went out to get my car sorted tonight so I could join yall tomorrow? FLAT TIRE.

Well almost. 10 lbs in the right rear. I got it pumped back up to 30 and it's losing again. My dadgummed new Dunlops with...well, OK, with a trip to Daytona & back and a DE weekend at Barber on them BUT WHO'S COUNTING they are still newish

ANYWAY all that's to say if the 911 won't hold air, I'll likely come out anyway in my Honda and prevail on my many long-lost ALSCCA Solo buddies to let me borrow their cars for a few assorted runs! Either that or I will just grab the microphone and play announcer all day. I know yall have missed me on that microphone.

As long as the hail holds off til I can get home to my garage, I'll be fine. Heavy rain, no prob, strong winds, no prob, tornadoes, shoot I've been dodging hundreds of tiny cones all day bring on a huge fat cloud. I just don't want my car dented to hell is all.

The thought of standing around out in the rain all day isn't exactly an appealing one, but that's why I've packed a bag with extra clothes and a towel in it. I'm coming down to play rain or shine. See yall in the morning!
