Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

I think that everyone involved with setting up and making the event tick got some really good info yesterday. A few of us were at dinner and discussed some ways to make the events flow well with the new venue layout as well as some technical things behind the scenes.

It may take a couple of events, but it should be clockwork in the end. Pair that with the turnouts we've had in years past and we'll have one hell of a season.

Awesome event everyone!!!! Thank you Mark and John for stepping up and being our fearless leaders, thanks to all the setup crew and workers that make it happen and of course thank you everyone for coming out and racing!!!! I just couldn’t believe all the cars that were there. They just kept coming in, it was a great site indeed! It’s very obvious the word has gotten out and hopefully even more as those that came today will share with others that were not there. We are going to have to work hard to get used to managing this many folks again but I know we can do it. Overall it was a great event to start off the new season. I was so happy to be racing again!

Thanks guys for putting on a great event, very nice site. Sorry for being so loud, I will definitely have a muffler on the car for the next event. I think the MS region had about 7-8 people come out.

Thanks for coming over. Hopefully they won't have to implement any sound level controls because your car wouldn't make it.

How many runs did you end up with?

Great new site! Pavement was not as abrasive as I had thought, but still had decent stick (smooth pavement IS better than lunar surface). A few kinks to work out, but a STRONG start from the Kilgores! I appreciate all the hard work from the few that do most of the work every event. I strongly encourage people to come up to the trailer or to the Kilgores before the event and ask how they can help. This is an event run by volunteers, and the ones that volunteer all the time would love some assistance or a break. You don't have to stop working after your assignment is done...

But I hape everyone had a great time. Looks like big turnouts this year, so get ready for some great competetion and lots of fun! I will enjoy moving my membership back here this year and representing the region at National events. Might even win a few...

I'm guessing the Mitsu driver was being too cautious and someone behind him/her knew what "Yield" really means ...

Note that there were two guys driving that car.

Also, will the times be posted? I realize that it was not a points event but I'd love to see how my times compared to the other SM cars.

Yep there were a few two driver cars. the results are posted on AXware

Was a stop, merge, then stop suddenly due to indecision (or some other problem). But don't worry- car is still capable of top PAX!

Great job, great turnout, great people, great place, smooth pavement. Really expect to see larger crowds. Several people were asking questions when I want over to get a snack. Think a couple will be there next time. I am looking forward to a ....GREAT year....
thanks to all who make this happen!!
