Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

  • st rules change???

I may be wrong but did they add a restriction on wheel width to the ST rules since last year?

The only thing I knew of was the tire width and treadwear restriction . Now you are restricted to a 7.5" wide wheel to run ST.

I guess its DSP for me this year . I sure did enjoy running in ST...thats a bummer.

The wheel rules for ST and STS have been for a 7.5" max wheel width for at least the last 4 or 5 years...

yep, what Andrew said. The various Street Touring classes all have specific restrictions on wheel width and tire width. I don't think any have changed recently.

ah I see. I was legal most of last year but when I bought the RS3 tires before the last event then I mounted them on my RPF1 wheels which are 8.5".

        Oh well.

The 240 is most likely getting moved out of ST in the re-org next year. I think it is one of the cars heading to STS, which wouldn't help you wheel-wise unless that rule changes.

Your car & Vince's mustang might both be eligible for either STX or STU. Y'all could get together make a class for competition this year. 2011 will be the last year this will be an option though...unless the re-org puts you in the same class.
