Just saying that the A6 is a much better chassis than the older Volvo.

Ok guys so here is the latest. Purchased 2 turbo kits recently and only lack a few things being complete. A set of injectors, hondata (or megaquirt) and a Tial wastegate. My question is injector sizing. I can get a set of DSM 440cc injectors for around $150. My question is this large enough for my application. I have seen a similar build on a D16Z6 with 250whp and 200lbtq running 390cc DSM injectors. I assume these power numbers will be close to what my B16A2 will put down. However, I used RC's injector sizing guide and they recommended 460cc injectors minimum with fuel pressure being 50PSI at the rail @ 80% duty cycle. This just doesn't seem right to me.

Not sure if they are the right style or not (low impedance), but OE Evo injectors are 550cc and just as cheap as DSMs. There is also the option of the older WRX injectors which are high impedance (I think ... opposite of the Evo) and can be modified for around 800cc I think.

You can pick up ford injectors that are lowZ that flow 46lb/hr for pretty cheap. Look on turbobricks for people selling injectors, probably pick up a set for under $75.

          The "Browntops" will also work.

Your biggest issue is going to be tuning. Get that sorted.

What year Civic is the car or better yet what year is the wiring harness?

These are high impedance injectors. They have already been modified so they plug into the factory honda wiring harness. To run the low impedance all you have to do is wire in a Prelude resistor box, that's what we did for the RCs that we used in a prior car. Would I need to use a different rate if I choose to tune on E85 instead of 93? I know that the Air/Fuel mixtures are different between the two. I'm trying to stay as cheap as possible I'm just not sure how to calculate the proper flow rate for my application.

I think I remember the Browntops. I was going to build a 2.3L turbo coupe motor for my mustang at one time but that was years ago. Will they fit the honda fuel rail without much modification? I can pick up a Hondata unit up for around $300. Currently I have a p28 chipped ecu. I could contact Pharable & say have have this, this, and this; then they would burn me a chip but I prefer the hondata unit and a dyno tune.

The car is a 93. The engine is from a 2000 Civic SI B16A2 with a p28 chipped ECU.

this may confuse you even more, or it may help you out tremendously. it sure helped me when I was looking for injector flow rates and what I could use.

Yes. To run E85 you need approximately 30% more fuel and the pump/regulator to back it. A 255 lph pump and a 1:1 rising rate regulator are a must along with bigger injectors, but those should be standard for a turbo application. They will work for either and you'd just need more injector.

If the wiring harness is 93 the you can use a DIYPNP megasquirt. It will plug right in. By far the best ECU for the money.

How much you looking to get for them? Are they the 550cc?

Mkay. I may do E85 in the future but will probably stick to 93 for now. I'm supposed to have a couple Walbro 255 pumps somewhere in this madhouse of a shop but still need a regulator. What is a good one that you recommend. And also could you tune it for me.

Hoping to have all this stuff rounded up in a few months after my suspension is done. So far 340lb F&R springs on Tokico HPs with no sway bars & falkens just ain't cutting it lol.
