Just remember that you usually cannot run a ST_ classed car in Tire Pax because the Street Touring classes are already on streets. ST legal cars will most likely get bumped to the appropriate SP class.

I, for one, am running DSP this year and am hoping for a couple competitors. I know there were a couple of DSP novices last year.(I think Dylan was one though.) I also know Ricky is capable of running DSP. I am just hoping it will break up the huge ST group into more appropriate, competetive classes.

I was planning to come but am going to have to play it by ear. I have walking pneumonia and bronchitis. So, while I hope to make it, I may not be up for it.

Casey, why run against 3 DSPs when you could run with 10 STs?

And yeah Erik, you'd have to class SP to run T class. T is a PAX class for cars with R-Comp PAX numbers. ST has street tire PAX numbers. You could, however, run Pro class and PAX with anyone.

Vince, there is now an FP S2000 from MS registered in Pro class if you wanted some competition. PAX looks like your only option to have people to run for now.

Thats my co-driver. I will switch to Xpro at the event. What is Xpro anyway. Pax for the slicks division? I don't know about competition. This will both be our first time racing the car. I just bought it a couple months ago on some old A6s.

Because I'm running 255s and I'd rather not expand to three sets of wheels and tires. I'm planning on running several national events this year and would just like to be consistent in classing. I ran ST initially because there was competition and my car "fit". I was planning on there being three to four DSP competitors this year, hopefully that holds true.

Oh crap that sounds serious, get better soon.

Speaking of classing. Who else is running SMF this year? I know Griffin said he was moving up and someone else.

I have heard rumors of at least one more SMF car, probably won't show up until Points #1.

X is a PAX class for drivers that want to run PAX. It's basically like the T(ire) PAX but allows ST cars as well. Just bring a car prepped for whatever class and rather than run just against that class (for example, HS) in raw times, you can run against any other classes in Pro PAX. So your HS car could run PAX against STX, ASP and AM if they were registered in X as well.

If Daniel comes out in the Lancer it will be SMF. You guys could always just run straight SM if you wanted. I don't think the guys would care.
