    Solo 2011 Test N Tune

    It's that time again! Its been a long winter, and way too much snow has been on the ground. So saddle up those ponies and get ready to knock the dust off the race tires.
    2011 Test N Tune at Verizon Wireless Music Center. Sunday February 27, 2011
    Please post up here for positions on the setup crew.
    For those of you who want to be on the setup crew but have never done it, show up early and get a feel for what is needed. Help out where you can and learn from those who are there. These are your events, if you want them to be great, help to make them great.


    Early Set Up / 6:30a
    #1 Event Chair / John Kilgore/Mark Kilgore
    #2 Course Designer / Clay McCool
    #3 Set Up / Zac Hardiman


    Timing and scoring / 7:00a
    #1 Registrar/ Matt Williams
    #2 Cashier / Katie Williams

    Waiver station / 7:00a to drivers meeting is work assignment for the day.

    Tech Inspection / 7:30a

        Ron and I can't make it for this one... darn...

        Gonna try to be finishing some stuff on the car and replacing O2 sensors getting ready for Dyno/Tuning time the following week... Gonna get as much out of the V6 as possible this year with little to no money outlay..

                Would love to do a good TNT course for Dixie Tour prep. Can I access the place before the event to get some ideas?

                  Sounds good Clay. The facility is accessible every day so if you have time you can definitely get some idea of the layout. I don't have to be there, but give me a call if you're coming by and I'll stop by there to lend a hand if you need it.

                      I'll help with tech. With the new location I can leave at the "normal" time and make it there for setup!

                        Given the SSS class we should have plenty on hand, but please note that we actually need three Safety Stewards if we do the usual TnT three-work-group thing.

                            Wheels going on the car, giving it a little wash, and going for a cruise to be sure all is in order. See you guys tomorrow morning!

                            Btw, this will be my first autox event to drive in. I would like to help out in as many ways as possible. I see that the early setup is at 6:30. Is it alright if I sorta show up then to lend a hand or would it be better to just get there at 7:00 like normal?

                              the only thing going on at 6:30 is going to be the course set up. Show up at 7:00 and that will be when the trailer and stuff gets unloaded
