Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

    Possible change in schedule

    I wanted to start a new thread so as to not clutter up the "official 2011 solo schedule" thread. We only have two dates that are conflicts. July 30th is an easy fix as we have many dates we can move to in July.

    However, April 17th (conflict with TVR) is not as easy. So....we can either keep the 17th, or move to Saturday, April 23rd. These are the only two dates available in April. The only reason we chose the 17th was bc Sunday, April 24th is easter and we wanted to give a weekend so that people can do family stuff if they wish.

    So what say you? Throw out your thoughts, April 17th or April 23rd?

      As muck as I usually prefer saturday events, please leave this one on the 17th. I am trying to schedule Teen Driver Clinics during an already-packed spring schedule and the 23rd is one of the few days I have to work with.

        I only mentioned the conflict with TAC because I thought we might want to make it where we could bring some TSC folks to Bham to enjoy our new site. keeping it on the 17th is fine.

          I was all about the 23rd as I have a 50th anniversary to go to on the 17th but I had rather not create a hardship on the Teen Driver Clinic so change my vote to the 17th.

                Ok, thanks for your input everybody!!! We've officially got the schedule set and we are leaving the 17th as the date as we had originally intended
