Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

While I don't disagree that an autocross would be a wonderful way to spend my father's day, others in my family may not agree. Given the difficulty to get safety stewards for regular ol'weekends it may not be feasible to hold one on the 19th. What about saturday the 18th?

Oh don't worry about me, I can skip an event but I was just pointing out that those who might be interested in helping our neighboring region with their road race in Nashville may have a choice to make.

            Ok Ladies and Gentlemen,

The June 4th event has officially been moved to SATURDAY, JUNE 18th!!! This will help remove the conflict with Father's Day being on Sunday, the 19th.

Hope to see you all out there for our next event!!!

A friend told me that we were doing a autox for them on June 4th. Might check with them. I haven't seen anything about it on here. If the Lucas electrics don't go away. Just Askin

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

                      • That's a negative John. We had discussed with BMWCCA, BMC, PCA, and looking to get Corvette and Mustang clubs involved. BMC was set to join us on the 4th, however that has been changed to a later date because of our date change.

                        • thanks, was not sure about what he said. I think that is a great idea about getting clubs involved. Oh, good luck getting CAMS involved in anything.

We will be utilizing the East parking lot of the Verizon Wireless Center as our Spectator, Driver, and Trailer Parking. We will be utilizing all 1100 x 400 feet of the smooth flat *asphalt* surface of the West parking lot as the solo course area. We will have access to the main Verizon facility for restrooms, and ofcourse the plethora of shopping and eating areas right across the street.

If your family doesn't find a day of autocross as enjoyable as the rest of us, bring them anyway. There are plenty of shops within walking distance and the Pelham Civic Complex has two ice skating arenas on the same property as the Amphitheater.

I hope that everyone is very excited about this opportunity we have. Please share this news with all of your friends. We need as many people as we can get coming out to these events and supporting our Solo program.

We have tailored this schedule to allow people from all over the Southeast region to have a weekend at a fantastic site one or two weeks before all the major Tours and National events in the Southeast.

Thanks for your time, and Get The GOOD TIRES READY!!!!

So im new to the area, in california we had at least 2 events a month between our Club and others for every month... What happens after the November event? Do we have to wait till Feburary of next year?
