I agree ...i used to be a little prejuduced against John Hunt .I had only ran it once.... at night.IT is a great site and pretty smooth.I like it much better since i have run it in the daylight.

I highy recomend running a TAC event ,.They are top notch.Go for it !I think I have run all but 1 this year .I am going to miss the night event because I am 1 eyed and dont see so good in the dark.(seriously I only have one working eye and I can half see out of it )I only say that to make those beaten by me feel WORSE!!!YOU TRULY SUCK if A 1/4 EYED GUY BEATS YOUR ARSE.

Where's the Windex? I gotta clean off my monitor.

Don't anyone feel bad, 'Ol Quarter-eye beats people on a regular basis in his Swiss Army Nissan. That car can be SM or GS or a TT car in a matter of minutes it seems. He mounts and balances tires pretty quick too.

I thought that I had it tough with only 1/4 hearing! I can't imagine driving autox with no depth perception... and going that fast. Great battle this weekend in GS, Ricky... how much did you nip me by on the last run? I guess I'll have to learn to drive faster since the r-comps didn't help me win

No offense taken... a little smack talk is always fun

I think I turned a 56.7xx. When Jordan and Jamie McK gets real tires, we'll both have to watch out! I'm already shopping for toys to bring for the next event. Maybe I'll even have time to stick around for beer at Hooters.

Peter you should stay for beer at Hooters next time. It's a great time! And this time I'll get to stay for the whole afterparty at Hooters - I won't have to race back to Auburn. The next event kicks off our Thanksgiving break, so I get to stay in Birmingham that whole week!

I hear that Jamie and possibly Karin McK are coming to the November event... we might have a whole run group with GS cars

Count me in for the Hooters event.

We did ,we had a great time. The really strange thing was Matt and I were both in the 62 second range in the morning runs and he had me by .3 seconds. Then in the afternoon, we both moved down to the 61 second range and he still beat me by .3 seconds! Go figure! And .3 is a lot on the scoresheet but in real time it is just the time required to say the "one" portion of "one thousand". It sounds like "wa". Thanks, ALAN. (Alan says it ain't the car-).
We did swap cars for one run in the second set and that was a disaster. Mine has antilock brakes and his doesn't; too much to learn in one run and we don't particularly like the other system. I had antilock FULLY operational on both bus stops, and several other places too. The course was fairly unusual but a blast to run. Anyone who has not run at John Hunt is missing some hi-grade asphalt. Yall come.

Oh, yeah. The TAC operation is so laid back .....
                  How laid back is it?
The TAC operation is so laid back, we arrived at 9:00 am and still had time for card tricks waiting for registration to open!

Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection ...... again.
