I not sure Ive heard that statement before but TAC is everybit as organized and professional as TVR...as a matter fo fact the same folks are usually at both. The requirements are essentially the same for both.Ive been at all but 2 of TACs events this year and have been at both of the TVP events so far .Jury is out on the last one for TVR since it may just be overlad as far as my schedule goes.

      Id encourage you to go.

Quite a few of the same people belong to both TVR and TAC . The difference is that TAC is a local Huntsville car club with a long (50+ years) and distinguished past while Tennessee Valley Region is affiliated with the Sports Car Club of America, SCCA, which has national scope and over 100 regional organizations.

The only difference in the events are that the rules of the sponsoring club and insurer prevail. The event this weekend is a TVR autocross and therefore sanctioned and insured by the SCCA which requires that all drivers be members so that the insurance covers them. So the weekend membership is an easy way to participate without joining for a year. There is a $5 dollar weekend SCCA membership for non-members added to the $30 entrance fee.

Come on out and have fun!

I wish I could have made it to this one! I had an anatomy test today though... had to stay around Auburn and study . Do you have any more events this year up in Huntsville?
