I want to make my first one in 2011, so hopefully I will be tagging along to south Georgia.

If you can only do one, do Blytheville. About the same distance, concrete, it will be warm by then and better competition.

that last part looks like a good reason to go to Georgia!

Seriously though, I never realized Blytheville was comparable distance-wise

I didn't either until I looked it up. I think there is only about 50 miles difference.

I plan on doing both. They are 2 entirely different surfaces and different styled courses. S Ga is the easiest (on your tire wear) sticky asphalt surface around (similar to Milton Frank). Both are excellent and a lot of fun. Blythville will give you some serious R compound tire wear but a hoot doing it.

PS. In S Ga, you get to eat Pizza at the place named after Jordan!

^^ Haha Clay!! That pizza place is awesome! I plan on doing Blytheville, SE Div, and I've planned my rotation schedule so that my vacation is Nationals week!! Haha. I have not decided on Dixie yet, mainly because I was so cold last year, but if I manage to have an open weekend that weekend I will probably make the trip. Looks like weve got a good group in the making!

You guys would not believe the fun that was had in Blytheville, easily one of the most fun trip I have ever taken. We (The F.O.G. and Jordan) walked the course on Saturday night after going out to eat, it was surreal to be out there at dusk on this huge expanse of concrete with friends, a few cones and a cold beer. Until you have been there it's hard to understand.

according to Bing, they are almost exactly the same distance from my house, going the "short" way to Cecil down 280, with Blytheville being less than 10 miles closer. Who woulda thought?
