Forum will no longer be utilized!
After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.
Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.
What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

I think I can only improve from last weekend. I had a horrible day. Plus, us Evos dont PAX well anyways. So with the exception of Matt probably, most of us wont be much help in that department.Originally posted by zukitek View PostHey ...not only that ,we have to drive our butts off and place well. Just out of curiosity, I looked at all my results from this season and my average finish BEFORE the last event was 7th raw and 10th PAX. I finished 18th raw and 29th PAX this time. Absolutely horrible. I hope the course up there likes me better.Chris Steffens

They've got Brett Hudson and Clay down as course designers, and Clay is taking the SRT4. I'm predicting a fast course you Evo folks might enjoy
Speaking of fast courses...someone needs to contact David McFall
Anybody got some 15x9s or 15x8s with either R1Rs or RS3s they'd loan me for a day? I promise I will treat them right

Good pavement AND a fast course?!? It's over. =)
She's ready to run too ... hit the throttle yesterday and blew off all 4 from a roll in 2nd with the damp pavement ... and she's currently down about 50 hp/tq.
As Yoder would say ... it's on. I'll have to show those yankees what a 4.0 sec 0-60 looks, sounds and feels like as their hopes and dreams are crushed.Matt W.

Ya those numbers didn't include us so you can +3 to that. I'll be registering us all through axware tomorrow. Put new springs under the rear on Monday so now I'm 50/50 on rates. Had 340f 250r with 45psiF and 40psiR making the car handle like garbage. Judging from the tire wear the pressures were WAY off. Starting with 40F and 35R then going to back them down from there in between runs.Originally posted by rodhx View PostI don't believe our 21 for huntsville includes shaggy and his two friends, so hopefully they can make it. I an also working on my friends Brian (the M Coupe from sunday) and Jonathan Glidewell (smurf Miata, hasn't been out in months).
Edit: Oh ya and door panels are back in for the HVS event so I'm a little more legal for SM now.Last edited by Shaggy; 10-14-2010, 12:35 AM.#20 SMF Civic - Lacy Ingle

With balanced rates, I'd suggest trying something like 38F and 42R on the pressures for a FWD. Depending on your alignment and sways of course. With so much front bias on the pressures it sounds like it would be really pushy.Matt W.

Just a thought for those of you registered on axware for the Huntsville event. Last year we used the "tire brand" info in the registration to designate club allegiance. Do this by editing your registration (not your garage) and putting ALSCCA in for tire brand. No biggie if you don't, but I think it helps for proper accounting, especially since we have so many of our new folks heading northward. Read that as "it keeps them nefarious TVR folks from claiming you for themselves", 'cause if you don't claim ALSCCA come registration time Sunday morning you will be counted toward their score.
I did not see a way to do this when initially registering, so I think you have to register and then edit that registration to get to "tire brand"
Also, my boys & I will be heading up I65. Anyone care to meet us at either exit 282 or some point further north?Last edited by rodhx; 10-14-2010, 08:12 AM.Rod H

Done. BTW, AxWare can be confusing whith allowing updating of only certain fields if you edit stuff from certain places.
To update your "tire brand" for the event, go to My Controls and My Registrations and make the edit there. You can't make the change from the garage or other registration pages.Matt W.
