BTW, has anyone noticed how fast Jordan is in ANY car she drives?

I believe the first run in my car Jordan was fast enough to get close to 2nd place in CSP. I was in the car with her on that run! She has a great touch on the brakes...just enough to do the job but not too much to lose grip or momentum. Very Robert Carpenter-esque

I do need to interject here, and make note that the afternoon course was much quicker than the morning course thanks to the giant pot hole spewing out asphalt.

And i'll tell you what, power steering is awesome, especially in slaloms.

I thoroughly enjoyed the event although 1/2 day of sun-heat is about my limit. I really enjoyed beating Eric and Rod but I think I had more car/tires. I probably could have run with Darryl, Lyle and John had I not come to complete stops at the hairpin and top of the berm! Stopping at the berm was good to be able to scout out the up-comming pot hole half way up the slope, only to see that the "line" ran straight through it!

The Novice group turnout was especially good- I hope they all enjoyed the ride. I got pix of the Novice rungroup #1 (thanks to Jordan for her camera) and I think Pop Engle got the second group along with other pix too.

If anyone can send me pix of the event, I will try to work them into the AutoX section of the new website, ALSCCA.NET. Mail me a jump drive if you have a bunch, or tell me where they are posted if the resolution is good-

I would have tried harder if I had known your times...even with my skinny little dunlops compared to your RA1s

Highlight of my day: I had novice passengers for my 1st two runs and they were both looking for a brake pedal on the passenger side when I went over the berm slightly sideways.

you should get some 11" wide wheels and put your dunlops on them. then get a turbo kit and you could definitely beat him.....oh wait, wrong thread.

9" wheels are on the shopping list for next year. That's as big as I can fit for STR. Should be a significant upgrade from my 6" stockers!
