Does anyone know the type of FM transmitter we have in the trailer?

Changing to vertical orientation of the antenna might help. In the horizontal position I've seen used most recently, it's transmitting a cross-polarized signal to the vertical antennas on most cars, which is counterproductive.

We can just twist the pvc pipe so it's up and down, no biggie. Although, that thing has seen better days.

No, it's fine. TVR/TAC is looking for something similar.

The antenna has some broken bits that need fixing or replacing. That thing has already bonked a couple of folks on the head...ask me how I know.
