This is GREAT news. If HPD (Sgt Gregory) was that impressed, that will help a lot in persuading the City to allow our Teen Clinic and maybe AutoX programs there. You could begin with the Sgt but Alan Pate at the Mayor's office will probably be the first hurdle. Asking HPD to make an internal call for us would help.

Sorry I'm late to the party, but I don't have time to hit the forum much anymore; I saw something in a Board member email and just now have checked it out.

If anyone has contact info for Sgt. Gregory, then Private Gregory will call him. I keep all the promo material with me, so I can snd him stuff right away.

If I don't hear from anyone today, someone PLEASE call me tomorrow and remind me to make contact.

Sgt. Gregory was the one commenting to us about hosting the NDCCC there, however, the lady in question is the Mayor's Secretary. He did not give us a name but he said that she is all over him about hosting the events...just some info for you. I would think that if you call the Mayor's office she should be easy to get hold of.

Sgt Gregory said that he felt like Mayor Petolos would be very happy to host the Clinic, show up, do pics, all that stuff that Politicians like to do. I think it would be a very good thing. As said, we need to strike on this, and I'd be willing to help out as needed.

Just to add - guys, that was fun! Had know idea there was going to be a solo. I only went (in my Kamikaze miata) to show off the paint job - and get some nasty stares too! That was the 1st time for me cutting some cones - 1st run put me in #8 (22.7xx) at the end of the day, however my NT01s kept from the prize - I shoulda kept trying and I probably would have bumped Robert. 2nd run put me in a fun donut then just parked it . I'll make it out to the horse track next month if I'm not at a DE somewhere. - Thanks for a fun time guys - was amazing how it was set up with the little room you had.
