Hey man I worked the course today and you totally did NOT suck. You merely looked like a guy who was getting his feet wet .You also showed up after the event started and didnt get a proper course walk ahead of time .You need to come out to one of our SCCA autox events and you will really get hooked .

Hey cool, glad you came out! I remember going back to my car one time and you were staged in front of me and I thought, wow, check that out, I'm not the only guy in an import car in this.

Yup ... 3 Porsches, a Miata and a Lexus. Good showing for a Hod Rod event I'd say ... lol.

I saw an RX-8 (in Pikachu yellow) take one run. It caught flak from the announcer who, despite his well-demonstrated ability to identify American muscle on sight, could not (or would not) guess its make or model.

A blue MGA (I think) ran too, late in the day, and it had V6 markings on it. I didn't have time to inquire about details, unfortunately. Maybe a late-model V6 swap in a 50-year-old car?

The announcer showed his bias clearly which is not a crime. He is probably a volunteer paid or not and is not prejudiced about voicing his opinion . The RX8 deal kindof erked me because the whole time it was being commented on I was thinking that if this car was being driven by a "driver" it would have probably been FTD.
