Sign up for your spot on the set up crew. If you've never signed up for the setup crew, volunteer to help first. This way you can learn from those who've done it before and once you become familiar with the inner workings of the set up crew, then you can sign up for a position with the crew.

I've got a shiny new member card with my SSS status on it, so I can fill one of those spots too. I would like to do the course check-off with someone more experienced though.

Folks, my grandmother is in declining health and there is a real possibility I will not be able to attend this Sunday. Normally my attendance ain't that critical but I am down as the only SSS. We definitely need one more (or I will not be able to drive) and it would be good to have another who can sub for me if needed.
