Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

  • Poll - Devotionals on Saturdays?

Question for you folks about the Devotional at the autocross.

First of all, I am pretty excited to get to autocross on Saturdays! I have been hoping for that for many years. I know that creates problems for some of you that have to work Saturdays, so in that respect, it is a negative. But I think it will be a nice change.

We have tried to have a devotional at the autocrosses for years (off and on), mainly because they have been on Sundays.

My assumption is that the devotionals that I have had the pleasure of doing in 2009, will not be needed except on the 4 Sunday events in 2010. (April, May, September & October) However, I'd like to think faith is more than a once-a-week thing. I am not opposed to presenting those even on Saturday, if you'd like that. I have no need to be a preacher, believe me, but I am willing to do that.

What do you think about this? You will not hurt my feelings about this either way.

Save them for Sundays, which naturally means Rallycross! I'll even give you a co-drive on one. I really appreciate the messages.

Why do I keep racing these weird cars?
Why can't I just get a miata and be happy?

Anytime is a good time to talk with our Father. Plus, Sean and i need all the prayers we can get.

You always have a good message to talk about, and it really helps a lot of people calm down and get ready to focus. I'm for doing them on saturdays.

Because they heard I liked my name, so they put my name as my name so I could have my name in my name... all the time.

I'm for continuing the devotionals, any day of the week we race.

I should specify that I'm not opposed to devotionals on Saturdays. It's too late to change my vote. I guess I just wanted to thread jack.
