Solo Safety Stewards

We need em. You folks that have taken the Safety Steward course need to go ahead will getting your license. Our solo events CANNOT take place without a safety steward or 2 on site.
I'd do it but a safety steward cannot have dual duties like being a solo chair.

Let me know if I can help in any way but we need some folks to stand up and get your license to help the solo program continue.

I took the training two or three years ago in Huntsville (thanks, Mark,) but was in car-buying mode all summer after wrecking the Escort (and the 626,) didn't come to any events, and never followed up. I'd love to try again. When is the next nearby SSS school?

There is supposed to be another in Huntsville this season.If I see any dates come up I'll be sure to post them up. I'm going to take the course and do my shadowing of another SS at out of town events to get my license. This is something that needs to be taken care of. I could go on a rant about how it's the same few folks that volunteer but I'll save that for another day.

Most of our TEAM SOLO members are young and a few are even female. It is not the old boys by any stretch.

Before this post gets too far off topic...We need Safety Stewards. We will have no events without safety stewards. If you were one of the people that took the solo safety steward school last year at the TVR event, you need to proceed with getting your license. In the
meanwhile we need a couple of safety stewards for the TnT event on Feb 27. Who has their SS license? Post up here please.
