      Pick your poison. =)

Also, though the car is Japanese, I'll have a little German assistance at the next event.

STR build has begun on the 07 Miata.
My Bridgestone RE-11s came in. 245x40/17 on all corners on 17x8 RPF1s.
            Konis go on Thursday.
I'll run for a month this way before deciding on the diff, ECU, exhaust, magic dust...

After running stock for 5 years this is getting interesting. Some of the rules are ambiguous. I need to go back for a law degree to understand that rulebook.

God forbid you run a boosted car ... you'll have debates all the time about legalities of boost control in different classes. Rules can be so specific that they promote ambiguity.

Oh, I've dropped about 1.5lb of rotating mass on all 4 corners too ... thanks to the Germans.

EDIT :: Actually, make that 2.7lb per corner ... new wheel/tires setup is 42.8lb against the old setup of 45.5lb. The DD/Wet set is 50.5 ... ewwww.

Looking good Matt. I think that you will really like the Kumhos. I know they made huge difference in grip on my car. So much so that I snapped an axle, now that is grip!!!!

No new wheels. It so happens that I've had some nice German wheels just hanging around for a while.

Silly big cars. My DD wheel & tire combo is 33lbs and play tire combo is 34lbs. I'm sure some CSP guys are around 25lbs, though.

Why do I keep racing these weird cars?
Why can't I just get a miata and be happy?
