I just got signed up for the new new forums. Those were two great days of racing. I got beat by an old guy in a Yellow car on both days, but honestly if I have to lose I guess it's a little easier to lose to that guy. Amazing courses at both locations. Thanks for taking the pics of the Mini Chuck and I am so glad you enjoyed the drive.

Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection ...... again.

In all fairness ......I think that TVR was the victim of their own scoring structure .I think it would have been much closer had the pax results been only scored considering TVR and ALSCCA drivers .

In hindsight I think the possibility of ARSCCA and TRSCCA, drivers who showed up to get seat time for national solo championships seat time(thank you to all of those drivers who ran) definitely skewed the results in our(ALSCCA) favor.

Dont get me wrong...we won!!We showed up .We dominated our prospective classes...in fact we swept CSP,GS,and HS.Hats off to all of the ALSCCA drivers (16) who made the trip to huntspatch ,but ,the scoring should be revised for next years event to exclude the out of region times and only consider TVR and AL pax times so that it is more fair for both.Clearly TVR bore the brunt of the error but i did inquire as to whether this was a good idea as far as the inclusion of the out of region pax times and the reply was "that was not the rules "(not a shot just a recap)

As far as 2 of the biggest smack talkers from both sides not showing up for the shootout....only one of you has a good explanation(no show Sheehy being the one without a pass)hehehehe J/K but hey who changes a trans the night before a big event????Hindsights 20/20 huh Jim.I think Mark York's father was ill preventing him from making it and I hope his dad is good.

At any rate I think that if the scoring had been only considering AL/TVR the score would have been much closer and truer to real life.

The vibe that I got as far as the concept of the event was met in spades though.... the usual driver number was doubled on both sides ,people who had not travelled to either venue were encouraged to travel, and the weekend was used by both clubs without conflict .

In short..win, win ,win ,and WE WON!!!!!Yeah ALSCCA!!!!
