Reindeer RallyCross 12/15/2012

This is the 9th year that TVR has done this. This is our annual charity event where we drop the entry fee (to cover a portion of the expenses) and you bring a toy that we donate to a local charity. We're even going to give you a custom Tim Brewer limited edition 2012 Reindeer RallyCross decal.

Don't have a car to rallycross? Feel free to bring a toy. You can hang out with us and get in the spirit of Christmas. Rides are free and everybody will let you ride.

TIME:
09:00 Gates open/Course setup/tech/registration
10:00 Driver's meeting
10:30 1st car off

ENTRY FEE:
SCCA members - $10 + toy. Non-SCCA folks - $15 + toy.
No toy? Your entry fee is $30 for members/$35 for non-member PLUS 2 sec/run penalty.

EVENT FORMAT:
4 timed runs + 4 timed runs. Free fun runs afterwards.

Ya, gave away a Stromberg carb adjustment tool, and assorted stuff for a Renault R5 among other things, that I had not used in 20 to 30 years.

Hey guys its been awhile, I wouldn't be able to make this event due to the two day in Texas the same weekend. Need to go over and talk about next year and settle some scores on track. lol

Do plan on making up there next year, especially for ya'lls season opener for 2013, miss my Alabama Rally family.

Had a great time yesterday. Soooo much different than autox lol. I loved the sideways action, but the bumps made me think i was about to break the whole car lol made me a little nervous. Only tore out the fender liner up front At least it will give C something to do though Also learned that Sara and I could both do car reviews, since we were pretty much having a convo the whole time we were racing lol. Had a good time! Glad I got to come out and a big thanks to Sara for letting me co-drive her car and Griffin for letting me do some ride alongs!

Great event Charles!!! What an awesome turn out, one of the best I've seen in a while for rallyx. Heath glad you had fun, no worries on the fender liner. I hope the kids enjoy all the toys, it was really nice to see so many given by the racers!
