OT Hmmmm Have y'all ever seen the Beater-X

There's some place up north running a "Beater-X" W2W series on a motorcycle track. The rules are similar to the Buzz Cars people are running down here. 4 cyl FWD with a 4 point cage blah blah blah... Apparently been running the series for it's 3rd year now.

Wonder how hard would it be to get something like that going down here? I've seen plenty of Buzz cars for $800 or so.

Look at Buzz car roll bars closely, a lot are poorly made and half welded. I have even seen old metal bed frames stuck in them for the hoop. Tacked welded to the floor pans, no plates, some look like the car would be more dangerous with them than with out.
