Florida is sandy. The course is not. The course is constructed with a semi-permanent limerock - nothing like I've ever run on. I'm expecting to have a blast there.

Grrrrrr hopefully Honda will have similar payments as 2011. Not that I plan on winning but I can use the possibility as enticement to the primary sponsor of my race team.... the wife.

What do you think the best tires would be for that??? I'm planning on getting snows but I wonder if they will really help with that surface.

get you some winter tires and soak them in Goat Pee for about 3 days before the event. Then let them air out for 1 day before you drive on them.
I've heard doing this is really good. I was thinking about doing it to some of my drift spares to make them last longer, but I didn't feel comfortable walking around asking if anyone had any Goat Pee...

I will be ordering my Goat Pee for this season. I'll let you know how it works.

Man ... I really wish I could get the Beetle ready for this. Truthfully, I should have most of the chassis work done this weekend and it's just the motor, wiring and detail work after that ... it could be possible ...
i would think by the time they have one event it would be packed fairly hard if it is on a sand base, "crushed limestone" sounds like it may be on the fine side.........
Oh and i noticed that they had it miss titled as a National Challenge instead of a Divisional
