  • Class and number specs?

I can't find any specs for class and number markings in the Rallycross rulebook. A friend was considering making number/class decals for Rallycross for cheap but he needs to know what to provide. Any insight?

I'd presume they're quite similar to the Solo rules.

There is no spec besides that the class and number be visible on the car. So have fun with it.

So bigger than Auto-X. Interesting. If you can verify that anywhere, please let me know. I might just write the national office ...

I saw a thread somewhere about number sizing one time (different region's forum, Google sent me there), and a point was made about what makes a race car, a race car. The fancy parts? No, plenty of street cars have fancy parts. The setup? No, plenty of street cars are "setup". It must be all the stickers and stuff, right? No, just ask any street racer that's proud of his eBay exhaust. It's the numbers. Having big huge numbers is what makes it a race car. The bigger they are, the more race car it is. Make them the size of the freaking door.

The article you mention must have been written by Eric Edwards.
