  • " Harvest Pie Rallycross" Nov 26th 2011

Now everyone likes a little dirt in their pie, or is it dirt in the eye? Either way this event we'll give you both...

Yes & Yes, for all that are surprised ALSCCA is having one last Rallycross this year! With no Rallyween event this year due to unexpected issues (dragging ass), I'm glad we could still have our annual pie eating & dirt slinging enduro rallycross. Yup, I said enduro! We'll have multi-lap runs for an all-out battle of consistency. This event will be @ the "dump" site in Shag Bark. Same location as 2010 Rallyween site. Once you reach the first lake you'll see signs. Hope to see y'all there cause everyone likes pie, right? The site is much more forgiving than the "Oak Tree" site. Lots less elevation changes & camber. Excellent area for any type class vehicle. I promise!

If anyones forgotten heres the drill!

As long as my Chief Mechanic can get a pesky broken bolt out of the Pearl and get her back in the dirt I will be there. I will try to make a few pies too.

Edit: Sorry, just realized that's the day of the Iron Bowl. I won't be able to make it. Sorry everyone.

Thanks everyone for coming out today for some dirty fun & pie eating. Bryon I owe you some pecan man, and please let Ryan eat hes pumpkin pie! The E30 Shoot-out had an unexpected failure, but we almost got all the runs in. Sorry Ryan again! I'm glad all of you got to experience the gridiron of my rallycross 3. Also thanks everyone for lending me your cars to finish my runs. Them are some fun cars to drive!....Edwin

Thanks again for supporting ALSCCA rallycross.

I think Leeann & I had an Uh-Oh with times....I'll see what i can mustard up!

Thanks for letting us try out the E30 Edwin, man that was way too much work! AWD is much easier. LOL I would love to drive it again, it was a lot of fun just need to get used to not being able to go straight for the most part. Good event, good pie! See you guys in Huntsville for their charity event in Dec.
