Wow what a Fun Event! It was muddy and it was cold but we all had a blast! There was a huge mud pit that we got to fly through. The pearl is completely covered in mud, just the way it should be. Lol

Yes it was! I had fun just watching everyone. ..not a bad day of rallycross considering the weather. Thanks Ryan for the few laps. Pretty great for my 1st course design. Water splashes and all. Thanks for everyone that came out...next event,...Dixie Challenge!
Now we know what tires work in the wet stuff...Just ask Tbone & Ryan..

It was a great day of rally crossing!!
Of course we all knew it would be a mud event...and Shag Bark is always a challenge.....the mud was fun.....across the bottom (with water/mud splashes), up the hill, around the oak tree, back down the hill, and across the bottom again(more water/mud splashes)......was probably one of the coolest rally cross sections I have ever ran.
We all commented it was very stage rally-like.
I can't wait to see Byron's pics.....and Logan, dude, it just get's better from here.
You, unknowingly, learned a fews things today....and after some significant seat time you'll be right in the mix. Excellent first event.

It was hard to just sit and watch!..... Logan got a great introduction to Rally Cross..
..... he also got a great introduction to the pressure washer when we got home!
Really.. it was fun to watch you guys navigate that very challenging course, great job by you all!

that pit looks awesome. I remember my first rallyx ever in my NA volvo up at steele, there were a few larger trucks that were doing it and they rutted the soft ground pretty deep (up to door sills in the volvo) and the volvo would come into the turn at speed, and in a matter of miliseconds, be practically stopped, struggling to overcome the deep muddy dirt.
Hopefully I'll be able to drive in the regional event.M. Cholewa
