  • Hmmm I may drive M2

If I could afford this....... Ford is bringing their Euro model Fiesta to the US and will have the WRC Rally Kit available for it.

The text of the article listed a roll cage as part of the kit. I guess it wasn't pretty enough to make the picture with the rest of the goodies.

For what it is, a factory installed kit, and entry into RA events.. With a chance of winning a year live in with the ford rally team.. Totally worth it.

Not only would it end up being somewhere in the sub 40k range, you'd have a brand new everything, built to rally, and you could probably turn around and sell it for close to what you paid for it, since I'm sure very few people will take up this offer.

I wish it was only about $45K! I bet its going to be around $65K

Dude, 1 season includes entry fees, gas, food, lodging, parts, tires. Crew? You have to have a crew with this caliber of racing. Plus 1 car(including upgrades, just M-Sport package) your looking anywhere between $100k to 300k per season.

I looked into Mazda Star Racing & that runs about 150K-400K per season.

Ok, whos going to do it? Im down to help crew!

There need to be a SCCA Club Rally Sport.......Or just rally a beater!

Till then Im just going to rallycross my ass off....

from the way the artical is worded you only get the parts(not installed) so your labor is not going to be cheap #2 if you do race it your probably going to be replacing alot of that stuff you just bought and # 3 you still have to have all the equipment to service and run the car and # 4 you NEVER get your money out of any race car! but it is nice to dream!
