  • HELLOWEEN, check!

Well finally home, showered and resting. I just wanted to say what a blast this event was!!!! Edwin you rock! You organized an amazing event. C and I had so much fun. My parents were very impressed with the event as well. They were actually fighting over who would get to ride with us, lol. So thank you so much for putting so much work into this, it could not have been better. Wish I was not so tired I would have taken more night runs which were too much fun. Can't wait till Helloween round 2.

    Nice to meet you guys.
I got home at 1:15 a.m. Atlanta time. I stopped to help Caj who has a mishap with his car, then had a massive oil leak get worse. I decided to press on regardless, and magically what had been 20 psi all trip turned into 100psi closer to the house. So, I'll be replacing that gauge and some other stuff, again.

Oh well, totally worth the trip! Now to get some local stuff going here in Atlanta. Hmmm, where to begin...

WOW....I cant believe I'm functional today.....

I want to thank everyone greatly for coming out & supporting the 1st Annual Helloween. This was a fun & crazy idea Ron & I came up with not nothing if it would work. It wouldn't have been so much fun without the support from YOU. Boy, was it dusty! Yeah, the dust wasn't very nice. The night runs were pretty wild. Its going to take some R&D to have night events work. Of course we were testing the waters & it seems like logistics & planning needed to have night events. All & all I had a BLAST! Course with challenging forward & reverse.Yeah it was bumpy, but it gave a good workout.

Yeah John thanks for helping Caj out. The car was undriveable, so I went out and hauled him home. Also, anything you need help with in Atlanta you know you can count me in. Hope to see you soon again....

              That was a BLAST!!!!

It's been several years since I had the old Hummer out on the dirt, and I think it enjoyed the workout as much as I did. It was always much happier off the pavement than on it

Many thanks to you guys for putting this on. The course designs were plenty wide enough for me, but had some nice tight spots to make it challenging (in a good way). I can't wait for the next event, and anyone that wants to experience an 8,000 lb vehicle going balls out around the cones, just grab a helmet and hop in an empty seat.

John and Edwin: You guys came up huge last night! I can't express how appreciative I am that you guys put in all that effort to help me out, considering the long drives awaiting you afterwords. I am in your debt, I hope I can return the favor some day.

The event was awesome though! It ended up raining at about 9:00pm...too bad the weather couldn't cooperate and knock some of that dust out of the air. Hopefully, I can get my parts replaced in time for the next event.

Ryan's car in the dark w/ no lights was AWESOME!

The night goggles night run was truly cool! Luke and I were in my car waiting, and waiting, then we say a glow stick light up the RX7 towards the end of the run!

                      That was very cool!!

Thanks Ron, Edwin, and especially Sean for letting us do this. The course was great. I thought this new site was much smoother than the hilly site. The course length was just right and I felt the backwards direction was a little better.

The night runs just didn't work for me. I took one run and couldn't see 10 feet in front of me due to the headlights hitting the dust, so I just packed it up after that. Then I got lost trying to find my way out of there! Thanks to Sean for helping me get back to the highway.
