Absolutely cool !!!!!!!!!!!
Way to go Edwin and Ron !
Past that....I like to hear how the event ran, any issues, etc.
I've heard some grumbling about delays on Saturday....re-runs, dust, inadvertant tripping of the timing lights, etc. Apparently some fairly long delays....one group of workers on course for a looong period of time......sounds like it was unusually dusty for the site......one comment; "I had to stop on course for the dust to move on to see the gate 10ft in front of me"
I'll wait and get a first-hand account from the "champs" on saturday.Tim

Well...2600 miles, 11 states, $573.00 of gas, tons of dirt & a few sand storms I bring the "2010 Rallycross Prepared Rear Championship" back to sweet home Alabama.
Wow...What a drive! I first want to give thanks to my co-pilot on that long journey to sweetness & back. Byron Webb. Thanks for using your time and helping Ron & I out during the event. We had a blast & I hope to do it again.
I also what to thanks RX-CO for a great event. Ken Cashion & his loyal group & crew. Pego Mack, Howard & Linda Duncan from National. The gravel conditions with great. I lost 2 to 3 seconds in the morning on Day1 getting familiar with the way the car handled. By the afternoon runs I was on it. Made up my few second lost & ended the first day with a 18sec lead. Day2 I just drive conservative and had fun.
As for Ron he was getting use to the car in the first day. He was pushing as best he could and just trying to not let the leaders pull away that much. By afternoon runs he was on his game again & clicking out some very fast times. He went into Day2 in third by 1sec. 1st place was pretty much unreachable unless he DNFed. Day2, Ron got in his rhythm & put down fast times again taking 2nd away and finishing 10sec ahead on 3rd.
Congrats to Ron!!!!
I sometimes cant believe the things this Senior Citizen pulls off!....Ron your my Hero!

Back from Colorado, I thought that I posted early don't see it so will try again ( when your old, and sucked up as much dust as I have your brain doesn't work.)
Edwin kicked some back side this weekend. He handle the PR class from the get go, and went on to a convincing win. He and that Green Bimmer where on there game
the course and surface perfect and they left no doubt. Congratulations for a great drive and representing the SEDiv so well. The event was GREAT yes the dust was a challenge sometimes, but nothing is perfect. If ask everyone that was there, would do all over again. Ken Cashion did another great job with the national championship. Ken has raised the bar for next region who host the RX Championships. When it's all over and you looked back, it's always the people and fun that you remember.
