"Alabama Dirt Cup" Timing & Points

Forget I said anything.I just found out that we have a project that we have to do on the 28th.So much for getting to rallycross anytime soon.
BUT if we did the Rallycross in the evening we could make that also after our project on Saturday morning.

Paul it has been a while since we've seen you, Chris & Jeremy. Hope to see you guys out soon. We are going to have the evening/night rallycross in October. Yes, I will be going to the National Challenge in Manchester, but I'm also going to Colorado this month for the National Championship.

One other thing..Are you still thinking of having the Honda promo day in Sept to show off the Pilot to see if Honda is interested in sponsoring for SANDBLAST 2011? I spoke with Luke & he asked if I've heard anything about it...meaning having the demo @ the plant.

We are building a Pilot now for Sandblast. We are working on it everyday with the plan to do Sandblast with it Chris will drive. We are having a company Rallycross on Oct.12th here at the plant on our track for the asociates. Would you and Luke like to attend? Call me if you are interested.

I enjoyed this weekends RX even if it was just a few of us. I want to thank everyone that came out. It was nice to meet a new face(Nat Cooke). Also it was nice to see Tim again, It felt like forever that i havent seen him. I want to thank Charles for coming out & helping with timing & scoring while i did the sweep car job. Byron, Im glad "rusty" hung in there. Sara & Chaisit battled for top spot in SA, but with Sara having a super clean event she nudged Chaisit for 1st. Sara also had fastest time overall & no cones allday. Congrats Sara on a stellar drive! Caj took PA over Nat with just over 1.07sec. It also didnt help that Caj was "Cone King" with 10 allday....All & All it was nice weather & fun driving.....

Next event is in the works "Halloween Fright Night Rallycross", so dont miss out its going to be scary fun...LOL

Thanks for putting everything together... It was a great day of racing and thankfully the rain held off until we were all done...

The site is awesome. Surely the most unique rallyX course in the country!

PS: I enjoyed the opportunity to learn how to close the roof on a Miata. I hope I didn't screw anything up!

PPS: I go by Nathan or Nate, not Nat ;-)

We had a great time too! The course was really fun, a bit tricky if you let the car slide out to the edge of the corners into the dust and cones. I loved the reverse course, going down the hill was a blast! Good to see you again Nathan, hopefully you can make it out again. And yes our site rocks!!! I really hope we can get a national challenge event next year so others can enjoy it.

Now begins the planning for RallyFest 2010 on October 24th. It should be an awesome event for drivers and spectators.

BTW thanks Nathan for putting the top up on my Miata. Edwin and I were checking out another part of the facility when it started raining. Weatherman Edwin had told me that it never rains at Shagbark so I didn't think I needed to put the top up.

Points update.

Ok here is the points update for 2010 ACD(Alabama Dirt Cup). We have 3 points events left for the year. (1) TVR event Oct 9th & (2) ALSCCA events Oct 24th & Nov 7th(double points event/ ADC championship). For now here are the points & hope to see EVERYONE @ the last few events.....Peace, Love & Dirt!
