  • Helmet and Snell Rating Question

I was reading on the SCCA site that for RallyX a Snell M2000 was legal.... are these rules old or are M2000 helmets legal? I found a HJC rated M2000 for a great price.

I know for $20 + shipping more I could get a M2005 but right now momma ain't going to go for $20 more (well.... she'd notice $20 more )

I'd say use a loaner helmet, this week, then skip a few coffees to set aside the difference.

We will bring a extra helmet you can use so you can save/stash/skip a few $$$$$'s between this and next event.

Yeah..... Remember though you only have 1 noggin! So make sure you don't skimp out on safety, man. I use an open face helmet. You can pick one up at a fair price....

        3 easy steps to rallycrossing

        1. get a car.
        2. make sure you & car are safe.
        3 Sling dirt!

Plus if you really know your car, it's much easier to feel confident when your pushing it to the limit. I beat the crap out of my car out there, but I know how much I can push it before it breaks or I break......Damn I love rallycross!
