New to the forums and RallyX

Hi guys, Will Leavitt from down near Montgomery. Always wanted to stage race but family and real life intruded. Found this forum through google and am really interested in joining in the fun. Me and the wifey plan on coming up for the May RallyX at Shag Bark as spectators.

I'm in the process of looking for a beater to run. Would like to keep it cheap as possible, was looking at an old Nissan 240SX or VW Fox, both need work but would be pretty cheap. Any other suggestions?

Sooo what do you think of an older VW Fox? I may have a line on one fairly cheap and in good mechanical condition. I know, I know, show up and drive but I'm curious about your opinions on this car.

hello Will....Glad to see you hyped about the May rallycross. I think a VW Fox would be a good car. I know VW rabbit/golfs are great cars for stage rally & rallycross. Parts are plentiful & good competive cars. Im building a VW golf for both stage rally & rallycross for a customer and the more I work on it the more Ide like to own it. I always thought a VW Fox would be a good FWD car for RX. Do alittle research on them and you'll see their potential. Feel free to call me with any question you have about rallycross or any other car.
