Didn't get an opportunity to run in any rain events. It has been fairly dry this year.
(Did I just jinx the remainder of the season?)
And now, I've got a set of Silverstone 525m "mud" tires on there way. (!)
*I still think the WF snows will work backwards in the mud...at least on an AWD.

I've got to do all I can with Edwin moving to M4 for next season. And Johnny Crow Yellowhammer should be running the bad @$$ Isuzu next year too.
    This should be fun.

Tabor Rally in OR has the Silverstones right now. Imported from the UK only about twice a year and apparently they sell very quickly. I pre-bought this set just to ensure I would get them.
    Google "Tabor Rally"....if interested.

I forgot about the aspect ratio......

IMHO, I would not run a snow tire over a 65/70 AR.....for the de-beading, sidewall flexing issues.
Just my opinion, I'm sure there are folks that do.
I had some 185/70/14 that I ran once and sold. Not for the flexing, they were just a little bit too tall for the 2nd gear feel I prefer.

the only input I can add to this is, bald azenis, even on an AWD, are def the worst tire to choose.

According to an Aussie I know, Dunlop makes a special front gravel tyre for RWD to help them steer better. He claims it was the best handling mod he's made to his rally Bug. Dunlop SP 73-R, can't find them here in the USofA though... at least I couldn't.

That Impulse "Owned" M4 in the Southeast for as long as David B drove it, he has grown to old to race now, but the impulse is still ready for anyone willing to bring it out.

this impulse is a sweet ride, a guy couldn't help but fall this beauty, to bad the present owner doesn't bring her out for all to see and enjoy.
