I talked to Lee Suttles Sunday, and it looks like we will split a stock rear wheel drive vehicle.

The miata must have a hardtop so I can't use it. Thanks for looking into that Charles.

I would LOVE to run my Evo, I know that's what they were made for but it is my daily drive for the most part. I don't feel like filling up the engine bay and interior with dirt, sorry. My main auto sport is autox, if I tear my Evo up playing in the dirt I'm not going to be happy with myself. It is super tempting to try this coming weekend but seeing how I've already paid to go to the Dixie Tour I think I will sit this one out.

We will be out there some time this year with a dedicated rally car. Like Matt said I just can't afford to tear up my daily/autox car.

I agree with you Sara. Please by no means bring a daily driver you need & depend on NOT to break down. I'm all about someone running there Suby & Evo, plus I great to see them tearing up the course. I believe in the basics of rallycross. Buy a decent beater that you can build towards whatever class you want to run. Hats what makes the sport so great. Low budget & all about car control......

Yeah..I rallycrossed my Speed6 & ran it thorough special stages on SANDBLAST in the mud. I just prayed it didn't fall apart or rip something off, which in the end I did rip stuff off & wet a few sensors. But I had a blast doing it. She got me home & I'd do it again in a heart beat...

EVO?.....don't forget about Mr Johnson from the OVR......back-to-back Stock All-Wheel Drive National Champion (08 & 09).....I don't recall if he ran the Hakka's or Winterforce snow tires........fast, capable and proven.

From the descriptions I have heard about the site, I was going to put on the rally tires....but I'll keep the WF's on just as a comparison to Shea and Randy's high-dollar "tyres"

Oh ... damn. Consider it ON. You're just down the road, and if the location is as clean as I understand, I will have no issue making a few passes. I might not run the whole event though.

If the lot isn't rough on the car, then I'll consider coming back. I'll just be honest ... I can't afford to break the car, so that why my Evo isn't rally-x'd.

EVO,EVO,EVO,EVO,EVO. We need at least 1 EVO at the event.
