Edwin, I'll be there and will be avail. between now and then, including the Sat. prep, to help anyway I can. Lets get some pics next time we go out there and post up, when did you say you're heading back out there again?
...and when Edwin said a Rally Xr's dream, what he meant to say was that the Barkin Shark Rally Park or whatever we decide to call it makes BRC look like a cute little autoX site.
This test n tune is our opportunity to get a lot of new blood into the club for several reasons so be sure to spread the word, even if people are just coming to hang out, tell them to bring a bag chair and lets at least expose RallyX to more people.
1) We've got a national level site within the B'ham Metro area.
2) The land is untouched and therefore very smooth so its not going to trash a nice car, dirty or muddy yes, but tear up past that, no. So bring your DD or autoX car and come on, no more excuses.
3) The more people we have the more it will make sense to expand into other fields with additional features and/or courses.
4) Edwin and Ron are super excited about the program and I expect some good things out of it this year.
5 I'm not into fishing, but he's got either 2 or 3 lakes on the property, I know one is stocked with big bass and another with catfish, so what he said above, bring a pole if you want to.
The head count, and more importantly, car count and tow vehicle count, is very important so we don't have any grass fires. So if you're coming, post up so we can let the property owner know how large of an area he needs to grade for parking.
Quick heads up on the property owner. Sean Andrews owns a very modded 05 STI, he's been to the Team O'Neal school, and he's been to some ALSCCA autoXs in years past. Its very cool that we're dealing with a guy that knows exactly what we'll be doing out there and he is very excited to have everyone coming down.
This whole situation just couldn't be better!
Keep the commitments coming!
