Our Rallycross Pilot is coming along pretty good. It is at this time a 2 wheel drive pilot and we will keep it this way for now.We have it pretty much gutted . We removed the dash and dash beam , cut all excess stuff off that is not needed like glove box AC and heater. We cleaned the beam up ,painted it and cut the dash pad down to just the insturment pod and put it back in yesterday so it will move again under it's own power. We are looking for a weight of around 3300lbs or so. We may get lucky and it be a little lighter than that. I have been watching the rally and rallycross videos and they look like this is going to be fun. Paul is very modest about the Pilot. I get it. Lull folks into a false sense of security and then hit them over the head with the biggest stick you can find!
After the initial RallyX in the RX7, I can not wait to get in the Pilot. I can't wait to get back out there in the dirt. It was "Stupid Fun". "Stupid Fun" is a trademark and copyright of Sean Yoder Inc. Any attempts to use, alter or redistribute said phrase will result in us stealing your favorite puppy or hiding outside your house with a Universal TV remote for 3 to 7 nights in a row just to watch you have a nervous breakdown trying to figure out why the TV won't stay on Will and Grace and keeps changing itself to the Home and Garden Network.Comment
