There are some things I refuse to do, rallycross is one of them. I am so afraid I would get hooked that it's better that I just don't ever try it. I think they say the same think about crack cocaine....

Darryl, I've been racing a long long time and this is the first time I've ever raced in the Dirt (not counting offs, years of MotoCross and a couple dirt oval races in a kart and BMX) OK, I have raced in the dirt before, but not like this!

You owe it to yourself to give it a try. It is SOOOOOOOOO much fun.

It will be all we can do to campaign the Miata next year the way we want to so there is no way I'm going to take a hit off of the rallycross pipe.
Pop and I almost bought a VW of some kind to rallycross two years ago, if the brakes had worked we would have probably bought it. I knew well enough then to just go ahead and buy a car before I even try it. I did the same thing for autocross.

I wondered the same thing. And I'm just trying to get something done. We've got land that needs to be used somehow ... this seems like a great use to me.

Thanks for handing me the keys to the Quattro. Hope I did the car justice in that lap, it felt awesome! I had WAY too much fun on Saturday. So much so that I've ordered another copy of Richard Burns Rally for the simulator and plan on having another virtual Rally very soon. I've gotten the Honda guys completely hyped on Rally Cross as well. Expect some VERY interesting vehicles to show up at the first event next year! .
